This means you probably want "stuff" for FREE.  Keep in mind that in most cases, "FREE" means limitations.  For some, of you, you can live with it. 

For others that need more power and advanced features, you may want to visit (See next column.)

If you're into going the FREE route, I strongly suggest getting your Email acount set up FIRST!!  You can then set up your Internet Access or Webpages in either order.  

The reason you need your Email Account setup FIRST is because the FREE Webpage and Internet Access programs usually do not have the spare space on their servers to accommodate a Mail Server hosting and maintaining all your email.  They may provide an email service that merely "forwards" your email to your PERMANENT email address.  During the account creation, they will probably ask you for your already established PERMANENT email address.

FREE EMAIL Address:

A FREE for Life Email Address is great and it is "independent" of any Internet Provider that you use.  If you're looking for the Free stuff, statistics show that you woill be jumping around from one ISP to another trying out different ones and each one will assign you a different email address.  During this time you need a PERMANENT email address so friends, family and business associates can find you no matter where your ISP is.  This gives you the power of sending and receiving email for FREE world-wide!. 

There are three types of Email:
     1.)  Web-based or Internet-based Email,
     2.)  NON-Web-based,    
     3.)  POP3 Email.
1.) "Web-based" means that you must actively be logged onto the Internet to access that email site.  You can access this type of account from ANY computer from ANY location that allows you access to the Internet. 
2.) "NON Web-based" means you don't need access to the Internet to use this   - such as JUNO Email.  It essentially acts like a FAX machine where it dials up a central mail server with your modem,   downloads new email and uploads your composed email then disconnects the phone line. You read and compose email off line. 
3.)  "POP3 Email"  works through your paid account on an actual Internet Service Provider who in turn gives you one or more email account(s) with your Internet Access.  You dial in to your ISP, download your email with an Email program that must be loaded on you computer.

FREE WEBSITE:

Most FREE Webpage services have LIMITED email capability.  They may give you an emial address but it is strictly a forwarding service.  Because it IS free, they don't want to store your email on their servers taking up valuable space.  So, . . . if you have your permanent email address, your mail will automatically be forwarded to it.  

These sites will generally all have a webpage "Wizard" to help you design your very own webpage.  A very simple one but Hey!, it's generic and it's FREE!  They also have instructions on how to update and maintain your own website.  But you MUST have Internet access to do this.   Which brings us to our 3rd "free-bee".   

FREE INTERNET ACCESS:

Now, supposin' you also want FREE Intenet Access.  Well, Wah-La!, it's possible now too.  With FREE Internet Access, you can access your web-based email, update your webpage AND browse the Internet - for, yes, for  F R E E !

All this will be at a price though - not monetary, but in limitations and sometimes inconvenience. 

But, HEY!, it's FREE, and this IS a No Whining Zone.
